Strict quality control is essential for the quality inspection of industrial rubber sheets.
Inspection items include surface quality, dimensional specifications, oil resistance, tensile testing, hardness (Shore A), and hot air aging testing. Surface quality is assessed using measuring tools and visual inspection for defects such as cracks and perforations. Dimensional specifications include thickness, length, and width. For oil resistance testing, the sample is immersed in the test liquid in a constant temperature device at (100±1)℃ for 72 hours. For the tensile test, a type I dumbbell-shaped sample is prepared and stretched at a speed of 500mm/min±50mm/min. Hardness (Shore A) is measured at five different locations, and the median value is taken. The hot air aging test is conducted in an aging chamber at (70±1)℃ for 72 hours. Other items, such as tear resistance, heat resistance, ozone resistance, low-temperature resistance, compression set, and flame retardancy, need to be tested according to the specific application.
