The core production process of insulating mats (especially rubber mats) is rubber vulcanization. Under heating or irradiation conditions, the raw rubber in the compound undergoes a chemical reaction with the vulcanizing agent, causing the rubber to crosslink from a linear macromolecular structure into a three-dimensional network structure, thereby significantly improving the physical and mechanical properties and other properties of the compound.

 

Common vulcanizing agents include elemental sulfur and sulfur-containing compounds. Platinum vulcanizing agents may be used in some special products (such as silicone rubber). The vulcanization process can significantly alter the properties of rubber, such as improving elasticity, tensile strength, tensile strength, hardness, heat resistance, and chemical stability, while reducing air permeability, water permeability, and elongation. Furthermore, epoxy insulating mats are made of epoxy resin insulating material, and their upper and lower surfaces should be free of harmful irregularities.
