The storage location should be cool and shaded, avoiding direct sunlight. Ultraviolet rays in sunlight accelerate the aging process of the rubber gaskets, making them hard and brittle, reducing their elasticity and oil, acid, and alkali resistance. For example, rubber gaskets exposed to sunlight for extended periods may crack, leading to decreased sealing performance. Contact with sharp objects should be avoided. Sharp objects can scratch the surface of the rubber gaskets, compromising their integrity and affecting their oil, acid, and alkali resistance, as well as their sealing effect.

 

At the same time, it's important to prevent contact with other chemicals, as some chemicals may react with the rubber mats, causing swelling, deformation, or performance degradation. If stacking rubber mats is necessary, pay attention to the stacking method to avoid excessive compression, which can affect their shape and performance. Excessive compression may alter the internal structure of the rubber mat, reducing its oil, acid, and alkali resistance and sealing performance. Different types and sizes of rubber mats are best stored separately for easy management and retrieval. Furthermore, if the rubber mats need to be stored for extended periods, it is recommended to inspect them regularly for changes in their surface condition, such as cracks or aging, so that appropriate measures can be taken promptly.
