To ensure the continued effectiveness of insulating rubber mats, routine maintenance and periodic inspections are essential:

Routine Maintenance: Keep the mat surface clean. Regularly wipe it with warm water and a neutral detergent to remove dust, oil, and other conductive impurities.

Avoid direct contact with sharp objects and high-temperature heat sources to prevent mechanical scratches or thermal damage.

Store in a rolled-up (do not fold) container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated, and dark place, away from heat sources and corrosive substances.

Periodic Inspection: Even if the appearance is intact, the performance of insulating rubber mats may deteriorate over time. Establish a diversified system of regular inspections.

It is recommended to conduct a visual inspection every six months or one year to check for severe wear, cracks, holes, bubbles, hardening, stickiness, etc.

Most importantly, conduct regular preventative electrical performance tests according to standard requirements (generally recommended every two years). This test must be conducted in a professional laboratory or by a qualified organization, applying high voltage to verify that its power frequency withstand voltage and leakage current still meet the standards. If any test fails, the mat should be immediately taken out of service and replaced.
